22/03/2010 - Koblenz & Partner opened its first “service center” in Moscow

The IPSO-Distributor for Russia, “Koblenz & Partner”, recently installed a brand new laundry in the Kurskiy Railway Station, the biggest station of Moscow. The Kurskiy Railway Station, one of the places worth seeing in the Russian capital, is used every day by around 45.000 passengers.

The laundry is part of a “service center” branded under the name “platform of cleanliness”.  Next to the laundry, the service center also offer dry cleaning, shoe & clothing repair services.  It is the first service center of this kind inside a Russian or even European railway station. Inside the laundry, there are 6 stacked washer-dryer units CS8, 2 washers HF185 featuring wet cleaning, 1 tumble dryer CD550 and 1 ironer CI1650/325.

At the opening dignitaries of the Ministry of Transport, the City of Moscow and the Russian Railways were invited by “Koblenz & Partner”, as well as 3 television stations for coverage of the opening.  Before the end of the year Koblenz hopes to open 2 to 3 more platforms in stations in Moscow.
